SRC Canine Restraint System

You have a pet carrier at home, but did you know you shouldn't put it on the seat secured with the seatbelt? We know that DOESN'T work. In an accident, the dog will go through the carrier as if it were made of paper. We've been working on developing a device that solves this problem. The new SRC Canine Restraint System ensures the carrier is securely fastened in the back seat, preventing your pet from being thrown forward in the event of an accident.

PROTECTION FOR YOUR PET

It is designed to absorb and deflect impact energy, preventing serious injury. It achieves this by incorporating energy absorption points that soften the effects of a sudden deceleration.

PATENT

This product is patented and has been laboratory tested according to European standard ECER44/04. A 12kg dog dummy was used for testing. The product has been designed, developed, and tested by specialists.

3D MESH SPACER FABRIC

The mesh allows for adequate ventilation, and is reinforced with cross straps to provide effective retention.

CONNECTION CARABINERS

The device is secured to two Isofix anchor points and a third rear point called Top Tether. It also has a fourth front anchor point to prevent recoil after impact and to keep the child in position in the event of a rollover accident.

ADJUSTABLE STRAPS

The device fits pet carriers between 45 and 56 cm long. The attachment straps allow it to be installed on vehicles of different sizes.

BUCKLES

The adjustment and tensioning of the straps is done using the quick-release tactical buckles and the pressure buckles.

ID

At the top, it has a card holder to put a QR code and several phone numbers of people who can take care of your pet in case of an accident.

The SRC system is compatible with the vast majority of carriers up to 56cm in length, but certain models may not fit due to their design. List: – Moderna Odyssey. Only size XS is compatible.

Is this device certified and legal to use?

Currently, there are no regulations for approving restraint systems for transporting dogs in cars; therefore, no device of this type can be approved. By using the SRC (Single Restraint System), you will be complying with the General Traffic Regulations and, therefore, with the law.

Has this device passed crash tests?

Yes, it has been tested in trials at the impact laboratory of the University of Zaragoza.

Can it be installed in all cars?

It can be installed in cars that have Isofix and Top Tether anchor points. If your car is more than 10 years old, it may not have them.

What size dog is it suitable for?

It is suitable for dogs from the size of a Chihuahua up to approximately the size of a French Bulldog. The maximum carrier size is 56 cm in length.

What is the maximum weight it is suitable for?

The dog's weight should not exceed 12 kg.
